Festival des Sociétaires

Former national transmitter, Sottens – May 22, 23 & 24, 2025

A unique journey at the heart of Gros-de-Vaud

After several years without an event dedicated to its cooperative members (sociétaires), the Banque Raiffeisen du Gros-de-Vaud set sail to explore a new festive format. The ambition: to create an authentic moment of connection, rooted in the region, capable of bringing together multiple generations in a warm and popular setting. This gave rise to the Festival des Sociétaires – a project fully imagined, designed, and delivered by LARMADA from start to finish.

Client objectives

  • Strengthen ties with sociétaires in a warm and original setting
  • Offer a new event format, with strong local roots
  • Deliver a multigenerational experience that’s welcoming and accessible

A turnkey production driven by flawless coordination

Set at the foot of the former national transmitter of Sottens, in the rural landscape of the canton of Vaud, the festival site was fully imagined, designed, and brought to life by LARMADA. In record time, we built a full open-air infrastructure inspired by the circus world: big tops, stages, artistic programming, activities, food zones, bars, parking, signage, and transport.

Our mission

  • Creative event design: develop the overarching theme of the Festival des Sociétaires, design the artistic lineup, and create the site’s scenography
  • Project management: global coordination, management of over 30 vendors, logistical planning, and executive production
  • Technical solutions: sound, lighting, stage structures, and infrastructure
  • Communication strategy: creation of the visual identity and all communication materials (printed invitations, site signage)
  • Scenography & design: full site setup (tables, benches, bars, kids’ zones, decor, tents)
  • Catering services: coordination of food stands and bars, flow management, service and hospitality

Challenges & achievements

Organizing a temporary outdoor festival in the countryside within such a short timeframe required precise preparation. We brought together more than 90 collaborators and 95 artists, coordinated over 30 external providers, and ensured seamless service for thousands of visitors – all while guiding a client exploring this format for the very first time. Thanks to agile, collective navigation, we met every milestone and brought the vision to life.

Results

  • 3 days of open-air festival
  • 2,600 participants, 90 collaborators, 95 artists
  • 6 concerts, 10 shows, games and activities
  • Very high satisfaction from sociétaires, the bank’s board of directors, and its leadership team
  • A praised program, convivial atmosphere, and a new format embraced by all participants
